Visit The First Academy

Experience Christ-Centered Excellence for Your Family

Some things are hard to tell from a website, like what a school’s culture feels like and how welcoming its faculty members are to new students. Some things you just need to experience — like The First Academy campus.

When you visit TFA:

  • You’ll be invited into a warm conversation about our school and the heart of our mission.
  • You might see students gathered in prayer, classrooms full of discussion, or athletes heading to practice across TFA’s 150-acre campus at First Orlando Church.
  • Every tour is personal, and our admissions team takes time to learn about your child and your family’s goals.

Whether you are exploring Preschool, KPrep–12, Hybrid Home+School, or the Distinct Abilities Learning program, we want to help you experience The First Academy in a way that gives you clarity and peace of mind as you discern the best path for your child.

Choose the Visit that Fits Your Needs

Every family begins their journey with The First Academy a little differently. Some parents want a personal tour to explore classrooms and ask detailed questions. Others prefer to attend an admissions event to get a broader introduction to the school.

No matter where you are in your decision process, there are different ways to visit the campus and experience what makes The First Academy and its programs unique.

Schedule a Personal Tour

A personal tour is the most common way families explore The First Academy. These visits are designed around your child’s age, interests, and learning needs so you can see the areas of campus that matter most.

Depending on the program you are considering, your visit may include:
  • Meeting teachers or program leaders
  • Visiting classrooms, student gathering spaces, and athletic facilities
  • Learning how faith and academics are integrated into daily life
  • Time to ask questions about curriculum, student life, and next steps
Tour lengths vary by program and a family’s needs, and can last from 30-90 minutes. See below for program details.

Attend an Open House

Admissions events offer a welcoming way to learn about The First Academy alongside other families exploring their school options. These gatherings provide a helpful introduction to the school’s mission, programs, and community.

During an admissions event, families typically have the opportunity to:
  • Hear a brief presentation about the school
  • Meet student ambassadors, as well as members of the admissions team
  • Visit key areas of campus to learn about academics, student life, and program pathways

Open House events are held at various times throughout the year and are designed for families at different stages of their search. Some parents attend for an initial introduction to TFA, while others come with specific questions as they prepare to apply.

Open House events last 60 to 90 minutes.
