One of our greatest partnerships is with one of our accrediting bodies, The Association of Christian Schools International. Each year, ACSI hosts its Annual Day of Prayer, an event that advances Christ-centered education by advocating through prayer. As Christians, prayer is one of the most important things that we can do. According to 1 John 5:15, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us.”

This year, the theme for the ACSI Day of Prayer is focused on understanding that we have a part to play in God’s larger story and finding peace in Jesus. Before time began, God planned for us and our school to make a difference in our community, right where we are, for such a time as this. The theme verse for 2022 is “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

The ACSI Day of Prayer is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15. On this special day, each division has planned prayer activities throughout the day, including opening each period of the day with a Bible verse. There will also be designated places on campus for students to gather and pray. We ask that you join us on February 15 to pray for our students, school community, and faculty and staff.

Please visit the ACSI Day of Prayer website to submit a prayer request for The First Academy via the link below. These are viewable by all participating schools as we pray for one another in our unified work to advance Kingdom education.

We are so grateful for the power of prayer in our school community. When we join together in prayer, there is nothing that our Royal Nation can’t accomplish! We look forward to praying along with you on Tuesday, February 15.
