One of our greatest partnerships is with one of our accrediting bodies, The Association of Christian Schools International. Each year, ACSI hosts its Annual Day of Prayer, an event that advances Christ-centered education by advocating through prayer. As Christians, prayer is one of the most important things that we can do. According to 1 John 5:15, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us.”
This year, the theme for the ACSI Day of Prayer is Shine Bright, based on Matthew 5:14-16, where Jesus uses the metaphor of light to encourage His followers to positively impact their world. You and I have the wonderful opportunity to carry the light of Jesus, the Gospel message, to our world every day through our words, actions, and deeds.
The ACSI Day of Prayer is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28. TFA’s Lower and Middle School has planned prayer activities throughout the day, including opening each period of the day with a Bible verse and designated places on campus for students to gather and pray. The Upper School students will be participating in the first annual Upper School Royal Outreach Day of Service in conjunction with ACSI’s Day of Prayer. As part of our commitment to TFA’s mission statement of service before self, all Upper School students will be serving at local charities and organizations throughout our community.
Please visit the ACSI Day of Prayer website to submit a prayer request for The First Academy via the link below. These are viewable by all participating schools as we pray for one another in our unified work to advance Kingdom education.

We are so grateful for the power of prayer in our school community. When we join together in prayer, there is nothing that our Royal Nation can’t accomplish! We look forward to praying along with you on Tuesday, February 28.
