One of our greatest partnerships is with one of our accrediting bodies, The Association of Christian Schools International. Each year, ACSI hosts its Annual Day of Prayer, an event that advances Christ-centered education by advocating through prayer. As Christians, prayer is one of the most important things that we can do. According to 1 John 5:15, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us.”

This year, the theme for the ACSI Day of Prayer is focused on Faithfulness. The theme verse is Isaiah 25:1 (NIV), which says, “Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” The word “perfect” defines His faithfulness, which means there is nothing lacking. Throughout the Old Testament, the Lord’s reliability or faithfulness is reflected time and time again. We know that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8), so we can celebrate and depend on His faithfulness now. Even in the hard times, unknown paths, overwhelming occasions, and moments of mourning, we can know His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23). His love and faithfulness reach to the skies (Psalm 36:5), extending to all creation.

The ACSI Day of Prayer is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27. On this special day, each division has planned prayer activities throughout the day, including opening each period of the day with a Bible verse. There will also be designated places on campus for students to gather and pray. We ask that you join us on February 27 to pray for our students, school community, and faculty & staff.

Please visit the ACSI Day of Prayer website to submit a prayer request for The First Academy via the link below. These are viewable by all participating schools as we pray for one another in our unified work to advance Kingdom education.

We are so grateful for the power of prayer in our school community. When we join together in prayer, there is nothing that our Royal Nation can’t accomplish! We look forward to praying along with you on Tuesday, February 27.
