Alumni Spotlight: Kaleb Scott
When did you graduate from TFA and where did you go to college?
2015 – University of Central Florida
Please tell me about your family, occupation, and/or volunteer service.
My two brothers and I all graduated from TFA. My older brother (Kyle) graduated from UCF as well and my younger brother (Kameron) is going into his senior year at UCF. I now work as a Mechanical Engineer at a power generation company named Siemens Energy. On January 8th, I got to marry my best friend. My life feels so complete and I thank my time at TFA for teaching me the values of marriage.
Please tell me where you attend church now and your ministry involvement.
I attend Action Church – Winter Park.
How did TFA prepare you for the next steps in your life?
By creating a strong work ethic and being surrounded with like-minded people that have similar views and continuously build me up.
What teacher(s) and/or coach(s) had the most impact on your life, why/how?
Firstly, Mrs. Collins – also known as my Aunt. I took every ceramics class possible. I don’t find myself a creative person, but she found a way to bring it out of me.
Secondly, Mr. Harrison. For challenging me and making Physics enjoyable to the point that I took many more similar classes until I found myself with an engineering degree. If I had never taken his class, I am not sure what degree I would have ended up with.
