I graduated from TFA in 2004 and proceeded to the University of Florida where I was an ADPi and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. Post College, I started my own medical sales distributorship selling cardiovascular products to Thoracic Surgeons and hospitals all over Florida, which turned into a successful 7-year career. I stopped working when my oldest child was born and now stay at home with our two beautiful children, Selah and Stone.

I met my husband Lane Henneman while attending Focus on the Family Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs during my Senior year of college. At the Institute, 90 students from around the world converged to study Theology, Worldview, and Family studies in a life-changing 5 months. We married two years later in 2010. We currently live in Windermere and have attended Mosaic Church since 2012. I created the HOPE Infertility and Miscarriage Support Group for women and couples at our church after Lane and I struggled with infertility for 3 years before we were able to finally conceive our daughter Selah through IVF.

The teachers at The First Academy who had the biggest impact on me were Susan Kelly, my AP History and Literature teacher, as well as Coach Toenges, my Bible teacher and cross-country coach. Mrs. Kelly kept a rigorous schedule and demanded a great deal of work but pushed me to reach my ultimate potential educationally and earned my respect. We kept in touch and she attended Lane and my wedding years later. Coach Toenges kept Bible class fun and engaging, he believed in me and truly had my best interest at heart. I will always remember him for being a great encourager.
