A Thriving Parent Partnership – Free Resources for our TFA Families

One of the ways that we can continue to thrive as a school community is through parent partnership by providing free resources that can be used daily to cultivate gratitude, build resilience, and foster joy within our families and for our students. Below, you will find information to access three incredible free resources to bolster your family’s spiritual journey throughout the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.

Focus on the Family

Focus on the Family is a global Christian ministry dedicated to helping families thrive. Focus on the Family provides resources for couples to build healthy marriages that reflect God’s design and for parents to raise their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles. They are here to come alongside families with relevance and grace at each stage of their journey. They support families as they seek to teach their children about God and His beautiful design for the family, protect themselves from the harmful influences of culture, and equip themselves to make a greater difference in the lives of those around them.

Focus on the Family’s website is completely free and rich in content addressing parenting, faith, marriage, and more. You can access their website HERE. Additionally, Focus on the Family has launched a video series titled Brace for Impact, which focuses on preparing your future teen to navigate the challenges of the world around them and learn who they are in Christ at a time when they are most vulnerable. This is an extremely powerful series that I invite parents and pre-teens to take part in together.

Right Now Media

We are excited to share that our school has FREE access to RightNow Media. It’s the “Netflix of Video Bible Studies” and has an extensive library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want, on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV. 

Many of our families and students already have access to RightNow Media, but if you are a new or returning family that has not created an account with RightNow Media, please complete this Interest Form. An account will be created for you, and you will receive an email from RightNow Media to create and finalize your login information for your personal account.

RightNow Media will be a tool to serve you as you live out your faith at home, at work, and in your neighborhood. RightNow Media has videos for students, parents, married couples, college students, single adults, and working professionals, all aimed at helping you become a more mature follower of Jesus.

AXIS

One of our newer partnerships is with AXIS, a tremendous resource for connecting parents, teens, & Jesus in a disconnected world. Whether you are a current parent of a teen or a Lower School parent who is beginning to think about the teen years ahead, this resource is beneficial and valuable.

AXIS has developed tools and resources for schools and parents to use, strengthening student communication. From conversation kits about tough topics to content helpful for Bible study.  AXIS can provide the resources needed to serve our students and families well…all developed with a Christian worldview.
