Bring a Friend to Church Sunday
We’re pleased to announce a special day called “Bring a Friend to Church Sunday!” One of the pillars of our mission statement at The First Academy is “participation as a way of life,” and few things are more important than participating in the life of a local church. Because we desire to forge a strong partnership between the home, school, and church, we’re encouraging all of our families to attend a worship service on Sunday, November 12, and invite a friend or several friends to join you! You can view the special video invitation attached to this email and share it with your friends and family!
Here’s how you can participate:
- Attend a worship service with your family – Whether you are attending church for the first time or are already church members, we invite all students and families to attend church on November 12.
- Invite a friend, neighbor, or coworker to worship with you – we’d love to see hundreds of visitors at local churches all over Orlando. Capture a photo while at church and share it on social media. Tag The First Academy so we can see and share the image.
If you don’t currently have a church home, let me personally invite you to join Tricia and me at First Orlando (8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am). The pastors at First Orlando will share an important message titled “The Gathering: Why We Gather on Sundays.”
We hope you’ll join us and participate in “Bring a Friend to Church Sunday” on November 12 as we thrive together as a school family, growing God’s community of faith!
