When we first moved to Orlando, our realtor recommended the school.
Are you involved in extracurricular activities? If so, what are they and have you received awards in these activities? (These can be affiliated with TFA or outside of school)
Theater, our One Act received a Superior for the past two years.
Which colleges have you applied to and which ones have you been accepted to thus far?
I’ve been accepted to the University of California Los Angeles, Columbia University, University of Florida, Georgetown University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, New York University, Princeton University, Rice University, University of Southern California, Wake Forest University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Yale University. I am currently debating between Yale and Harvard.
What do you plan to study in college and what are your long-term career goals?
I want to do pre-med in college and become a Doctor.
Have you received any college scholarships? If so, which ones? (Or, which ones are you currently nominated for)
Who are some of your favorite TFA teachers, and why? These can be K4-12.
I loved AP Biology with Mrs. Oswald because Biology is my favorite subject and Mrs. Oswald was a great teacher.
In one sentence, what did being a student at The First Academy mean to you?
Going to school with great people and great teachers.
How has TFA made a difference in, or impacted your life?
TFA has allowed me to strengthen my walk, and differentiate between true personal Christianity and a facade.
