It’s that time of year again. It begins to dip below 90 degrees in Orlando, football can be seen and heard in high school and college stadiums across the country, and my wife, Tricia, brings out all things “pumpkin spice” to enjoy. This fall at TFA, we are gearing up for Homecoming Week (October 16-21), which is just a couple of weeks away. You can view the complete Homecoming Packet to learn all of the details about the week HERE.

This year, Homecoming is extra special because we are also celebrating TFA’s 30th anniversary. We are celebrating 30 years of preparing our students to be Christian leaders and world-changers. We want to celebrate this milestone in a big way, and I want to personally invite all of our families, alumni, grandparents, and friends to attend our 30th-Anniversary Carnival and Homecoming Football Game on Friday, October 20. The Carnival will begin at 5:00pm in the Upper School Lot and the Homecoming Football Game vs. Agape Christian Academy will begin at 7:30pm at PSAC.

The Carnival is a totally free event and will include activities such as carnival games, rides, caricature artists, face painters, obstacle courses, food trucks, and more. This is truly an event for all ages and will feature performances from The Royal Sapphires and The First Academy band. You can RSVP for the carnival HERE and can purchase tickets for the Homecoming Football game on the evening of October 20 at the gate.

Tricia and I will be there, along with our family. I sure hope you can join us as we celebrate 30 years of Christ-centered education at The First Academy.
