Homecoming 2020-2021 has been special. We have seen students fully embrace our Fire & Ice theme and have enjoyed the many dress-up days and on-campus activities. While this special week has taken place in January this year, and many of our traditional events may look a little bit different, we have been blessed to celebrate together as a school community in a learning environment where all of our students are healthy and safe on our campus.

Friday has always been the culmination of our Homecoming Week festivities at TFA, and this year is no different. In order to celebrate safely this Friday, we need your help. Please review the important information and details below for tomorrow’s events.

  • The Homecoming Parade will take place tomorrow, January 29 at 11:00am. Please note that due to our on-campus health and wellness policies, parents and friends are invited to attend virtually this year (no on-campus attendance). We will broadcast the parade on Facebook live. You do not need a Facebook account to view the parade, you can view it HERE on Friday at 11:00am.
  • Loop Road, the Lower School carline, and the Upper School carline will not open until approximately 11:30am, following the parade.
  • The Lower School and Upper School Parking lots will also be closed, as many students will be viewing the parade from these lots.
  • The Homecoming Court coronation will take place at PSAC directly following the parade and the pep rally. The pep rally and court coronation is for Upper School students and the families of those on the Homecoming Court only. We will broadcast the Homecoming Court coronation on Facebook live. You do not need a Facebook account to view the parade, you can view it HERE tomorrow at 11:45am.
  • As a reminder, tomorrow, January 29 is a half-day, and all students will be dismissed at 12:15. Aftercare will be available until 6:00pm as needed.

On a personal note, our last child is a TFA senior. I will have the joy of driving Caleb in the Homecoming Parade and celebrating with him at the coronation as he represents the Class of 2021. I’m thankful for Dr. Shayne Grove and all the Upper School teachers and coaches who have gone the “extra mile” to make this a great year for our seniors. I look forward to celebrating with all of our students tomorrow!
