What were the reasons you or your parents chose The First Academy? 

It is a great Christian private school.

 

Are you involved in extracurricular activities? If so, what are they and have you received awards in these activities? (These can be affiliated with TFA or outside of school) 

I’ve played basketball and volleyball and I have been the chaplain of the basketball team. I also received the “Most Improved” award for volleyball.

 

Which colleges have you applied to and which ones have you been accepted to thus far? 

I have applied to UF and I’ve been accepted to UF!

 

What do you plan to study in college and what are your long-term career goals? 

I want to study engineering and business and run my own engineering practice when I get older.

 

Have you received any college scholarships? If so, which ones? (Or, which ones are you currently nominated for) 

I have received the Gordon College Book Award.

 

Who are some of your favorite TFA teachers, and why? These can be K4-12.

Mr. Kavanagh, Mrs. Wasylik, and Mr. Harrison have been my favorite because they teach well and invest their time into our personal lives.

 

In one sentence, what did being a student at The First Academy mean to you? 

It has been a privilege to be here with amazing teachers and friends.

 

How has TFA made a difference in, or impacted your life? 

I have grown spiritually through dealing with challenges and it has been great to have TFA as a support system when dealing with those challenges.

 

Do you feel that The First Academy has prepared you for life after graduation? 

The First Academy has been great in building my foundation and developing my talents for my life ahead.

 

What is your favorite memory at TFA? 

Serving kids during our junior year service project.
