What are your plans for Summer 2017? You may be thinking “Summer?! I’m just trying to get to Spring Break!” 🙂 While it is a few months away, summer plans and programs fill up quickly. TFA’s SummerQuest program and TFA’s Preschool are providing wonderful summer offerings. These programs are also open to students who do not attend TFA, so please feel free to share with family and friends who could benefit from these opportunities. Staff/Teacher Appreciation Next Week:

Monday, March 13th-Friday March 17th our Parent Sunshine Committee will be blessing our staff and teachers. Each day, the Sunshine Committee has planned a special way to bless our staff each day. Please read below for ways you can bless your child’s teacher.

Monday, March 13^th: $5 Starbucks Gift Card

(Sunshine Committee will package gift card with a bag of muffins)

Tuesday, March 14^th: Favorite Flower Day

**(Parents will send in with their child will staff’s favorite flower and preschool will supply mason jar for each teacher)

Wednesday, March 15^th: Favorite Snack/Drink Day

**(Parents will send in and bless staff with their favorite drink & snack; Sunshine Committee will provide a tote for teachers to collect favorite snack/drink donations)

Thursday, March 16^th: Sunshine Committee Lunch Blessing

(Sunshine Committee will work with Whitney Prieto from Burger 21 for lunch donations)

Friday, March 17^th: Sunshine Committee Blessing

(Sunshine Committee will bless staff with a special token of appreciation)

Thank you so much for your amazing support of the preschool. We are so truly blessed by your precious families and thank you for choosing our preschool to serve your family!

We also enjoyed using our gross motor skills to jump across an obstacle course we made with our new playground equipment! It was a fun week!

This week we learned about caring for pets. Drs. Olivia, British, and Morgan are pictured caring for a dog in our “Animal Clinic”.

We also learned about how some animals are pets and other animals are wild animals.

We separated pictures of animals based on whether they were pets or wild animals.

We also enjoyed using our gross motor skills to jump across an obstacle course we made with our new playground equipment! It was a fun week!

K-PREP HIGHLIGHTS

TFA KPrep students just spent a thrilling week celebrating the work of Dr. Seuss! We read lots of his books, reviewed rhyming words, compared and contrasted his books, made lots of crafts and edible art, and dressed wackily for Wacky Wednesday! It was an awesome, fun-filled week!!
