Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4 Do you and your family set goals? Goal setting as a family can prioritize, motivate, and help build children’s self-confidence. A useful way to make goals more powerful is to use the SMART acronym. S= Significant, M= Meaningful, A= Action-Oriented, R=Rewarding, and T= Trackable. While there are other versions of this acronym for goal setting, this one is tied specifically to family goal setting. This past year my family and I set the goal of renovating a home. While it was a big undertaking, the blessing of the reward was well worth the task we achieved together. There is beautiful power in working together as a family- what will your family goals be this year?
