Message From Mrs. Grayson Merritt, Preschool Principal
I can’t believe we are almost to the end of September! What a month it has been. When I think about all that we have experienced over the past month, I am or I have learned ___________? How would you fill in that blank? We have faced times of uncertainty; times of fear; times of relief (getting our power back on!); times of community; times of love! May we be encouraged and reminded that our God is one who shifts our feelings of despair, frustration and hopelessness into a strong reminder of our ever present God who never leaves or forsakes us!
As a school family, we are so thankful that God protected you and your precious families! We are grateful for the reminder of looking outside our front doors and being called to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving others.
As a mama, I was thankful for the time with my boys to pray, worship and most importantly to help serve those around us. What an opportunity we were given to bless others!
As we continue to return to our normal routines, I ask for you to please join me in prayer for those who have experienced damage or still lack of power or even those who are suffering financial hardships because of the storm. Please pray for those impacted by Hurricane Maria as well.
Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Preschool Spotlight:
*Sunshine Committee Teacher Blessing: What an amazing surprise it was to be blessed so richly and by such yummy food!! Our amazing Sunshine Committee organized a morning full of yummy beverages, sweets galore and fruit to keep us healthy! We are so thankful and blessed by your outpouring of love!
Upcoming Events:
*Community Helper Day: Just a reminder that Thursday, 9/28 and Friday, 9/29 we will be visits by our community helpers! We are so thankful to our amazing parents who are willing to come in and bless our students by sharing about how they impact our community. Please be sure to have your child at school by 9:15am so they won’t miss any of the fun day we have planned!
*First Baptist Orlando E2 Roof Repairs: During the month of October, the church will begin work on the roof of our building. This will impact our world so I wanted to be sure to let you know about some temporary changes that will be helpful:
-Parking will be in front of the E1 Building. Our current parking lot will be used for cranes for the roof and for equipment.
-We will be using the side door of our building (doors closest to the toddler playground and by the 2-year old hallway) as our main entry. Miss Jenna will move her check in station over to that door as well to welcome you.
We are thankful to First Baptist for allowing us to serve in such a wonderful facility and are willing to be helpful during this time of transitions. If you have any concerns, please contact the Preschool office (4.07) 206-8704
