Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
The Daniel and Esther Awards are presented to one male and one female student at graduation. These students are selected by faculty members because they fully embody the Mission of The First Academy. The Daniel and Esther Awards are the most prestigious awards given to students graduating from The First Academy.
Congratulations to the 2015 Daniel and Esther Winners, Victor Thomas and Abigail Brady.
Congratulations to Mrs. Collins’ and Mrs. Gegerson’s students for their accomplishments in the 2015 K-12 Student Art Assessment and Virtual Exhibition! The following students were chosen from over 1,300 entries throughout Florida, with 135 teachers from 120 schools. Works that received Awards of Excellence will be shown at the 2015 FAEA Conference in Naples, as well as on the FAEA website for the following year.

Extra yearbooks are available to purchase from Ms. Conde in the Upper School lobby. The cost is $100, and cash or checks are acceptable. Pictured: Upper School students enjoyed looking through the new yearbook and getting friends’ signatures during lunch last week.
All library books are due by Friday, May 15th. The library will be closed for inventory, including before and after school, the week of May 18th-May 22nd. Thank you for your understanding!
Camp Orlando is First Orlando Student Ministry’s annual summer camp. This year, junior high and high school will be together for Camp Orlando, though most activities will take place separately. Camp Orlando 2015 will feature Stuart Hall (camp speaker), Unhindered (camp worship band) and A.C. Sanford (camp emcee). The theme for Camp Orlando 2015 is UNITED: though each of us is uniquely different, we are UNITED in grace and mission. This will be a week that students will not want to miss!
