About us

The First Academy is a Christ-centered, college preparatory, private school serving over 1,450 Central Florida students from preschool through high school.

Since its founding in 1986, The First Academy has continued to grow the academic, fine arts, and athletic programs, helping elevate students to their highest levels of achievement. Developing character strength has led our young men and women to serve others in Orlando and across the globe.

Giving Opportunities

In August of 1987, The First Academy committed to “preparing children for life as Christian leaders.” Through the faithfulness of God and the generosity of his people, The First Academy began impacting thousands of students’ lives. Since then, countless parents, grandparents and alumni have given generously, and today we ask that you, too, help make this possible.
