The First Academy’s Fine Arts Department is excited for all of the upcoming fine arts events!

Spring Art Exhibits will be showcasing the work of Visual Arts Students. The AP Studio Art Program has been a success this year! These gifted students will be exhibiting their portfolios in the Upper School Band Room from April 18 through April 25. Many of their pieces will be on sale so you don’t want to miss this event.

Also, Come see our ‘silent performers’ share their beautiful creations! Community Exhibition is part of the State Standards for all visual art courses. Students learn about preparing, hosting, and displaying art in a spatially organized environment. Beginning Monday, April 29 in the Upper School Band Room, the Upper School Visual Art students will be hosting their Spring Exhibit during school hours through Thursday, May 2. These students have worked very hard this year and are ready to show it off! Additionally, join us on Friday, May 2, for a ‘Meet the Artist’ Reception. The Artists of the US Visual Art Spring Exhibit will be in the Upper School Band Room during their Visual Art class periods to ‘meet and greet’ our guests. Viewing a visual artist’s work is like giving an actor applause after a performance. Thank you for supporting the Arts!
