What a Grade Level did you start at The First Academy?

What were the reasons you or your Parents chose The First Academy?

My parents moved me to The First Academy because they believed I would be provided with a better environment where I could grow educationally and spiritually.

What do you plan to study in college and what are your long-term career goals?

I plan to study medicine, although I am not sure what field I would like to enter.

Have you received any college scholarships? If so, which ones? (Or, which ones are you currently nominated for)

Yes, I have received scholarship offers from Stetson University, University of Alabama, and the University of South Florida.

Who are some of your favorite TFA teachers, and why? These can be K4-12.

Ms. Pierre-Louis and Mrs. Oswald have really had a big impact on me. Their classes are very rigorous, but they explain the material very well and take the time to answer every question to make sure that you fully comprehend the material. Also, it’s evident that they deeply care about each and every student and value more than just academic success.

In one sentence, what did being a student at The First Academy mean to you?

To me, being a student at TFA means that I am a part of a group of students and faculty that care about my education, well-being, and spiritual walk.

How has TFA made a difference in, or impacted your life?

TFA is a very unique environment where people are constantly being poured into by faculty and students and that has allowed me to grow in my walk and as a person.

Do you feel that The First Academy has prepared you for life after graduation?

For sure, my experience at TFA has prepared me for the academic rigor of college as well as equipping me with a foundation to defend my faith.

What is your favorite memory at TFA?

Some of my favorite memories that I have made at TFA are from being a part of the softball team. The friendships I have made from softball are ones that will last a lifetime, we share lots of laughs and a love for Jesus that makes every moment a special one.
