With iOS 8 releasing today, many of us may be wondering what new features we’ll be seeing and what to expect. We’d like to start you off with a warning: as an iCloud user you’re likely used to readily accessing your synced information across your platform of Apple Devices; however, by upgrading to iCloud Drive you will lose access to these items on any non-iOS Device until the official release of Yosemite. The sync will be lost between your iPhone or iPad and your Macbook, iMac, or Mac Mini. Because of this, we recommend practicing restraint and awaiting the release of Yosemite before upgrading to iCloud Drive.
To learn more about the situation read on. Also, if you do decide to jump into iOS 8, be smart and backup your iOS device to iTunes before your installation.
