The Virtual Academy


100% of our graduates have been accepted to college.

Applying is quick and easy: simply fill out the application and wait to hear from us. Applicants to the first class will be thoroughly vetted and must meet the following standards:

  1. Strong performance in current honors or higher coursework
  2. Tuition assistance not requested*
  3. Requesting at least three sequential courses in same block: morning or afternoon
  4. Must be capable of being off campus, or working on approved non-schoolwork - i.e. fitness - for virtual block.
  5. Must have access to Wi-Fi capable of streaming video
  6. Must utilize iPad capable of running latest iOS

The First Academy Upper School students accepted to the Hybrid program will not pay additional tuition, with the exception of an AP courses fee. All students are welcome to take individual courses at the rate of $750 per half-credit or $1500 per one-credit course.

Flexible Scheduling

The Virtual Academy's flexibility empowers student choice, increases student engagement, and improves student participation. Students can be strategic when designing their schedules to allow for personalization that best meets their unique needs. The Virtual Academy's Online Christian Consortium based curriculum immerses the students into a collaborative network of students and instructors across the country, where personal interactions and feedback are a part of learning. Students have the ability to connect anywhere, anytime and are a part of a dynamic learning community.

Collegiate Academic Rigor

The Virtual Academy's accredited Online Christian Consortium curriculum exceeds NCAA eligibility standards with each course reviewed by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and others. Christian Worldview

As a Christian school, our desire is for students to Grow in God's Wisdom and Truth. All courses offered are Biblically integrated and taught by Christian educators. Students participate in virtual Chapel weekly and have access to a Chaplain.
